CrossFit Goals & Weaknesses Check In for Early 2015

In early August of last year, I took inventory of some of my strengths and weaknesses as it relates to fitness. I love fitness because when I make big gains in the gym, I notice it translates into other parts of my life (work, personal, etc).

I use CrossFit to maintain my strength and conditioning so most of my thinking comes through that lens.

Below is a breakdown of what I wrote up in August 2014. I broke out items into three categories: strength goals, CrossFit goals and weaknesses. In addition to those, the ultimate goal is what I am striving for over time.

Ultimate Goal: to perform CrossFit related movements with the 100% efficiency

Bold = goal hit or no longer a weakness

Strength Goals

  • Back Squat 350 lbs (350lbs on 12/9/2014)
  • Snatch 205 lbs (205 on 10/2015)
  • C&J 245 lbs (257 lbs on 4/4/2015)
CrossFit Goals
  • 4:30 Isabel  (2:19 on 5/26/2016)
  • 4:00 Fran  (3:33 on 9/21/2015)

It is exciting to take inventory of these goals and weaknesses I laid out 6 months ago and realize progress was made. There is also more to accomplish.
